Horse racing's big events - the stakes races - are ranked on a scale by grade, with Grade 1 being the highest, followed by Grade 2, Grade 3, and then listed, restricted, or ungraded stakes races. This is a list of 2025 Grade 1 races, which are reviewed annually by the American Graded Stakes Committee and may be adjusted if they no longer meet Grade 1 standards. The schedule will be updated as additional race dates are confirmed and fall meeting schedules are finalized.
