OVERVIEW
The Basics
Craps is an exhilarating and high-energy Casino dice game that offers players a variety of betting options. The objective is to predict the outcome of the roll or a series of rolls of two six-sided dice.
BET TYPES
In Craps, you can make a range of bets, each with its own rules and potential payouts
Pass Line Bet
You bet on the shooter (the person rolling the dice) to win by rolling a 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, or by establishing a "point" and rolling it again before rolling a 7. These bets pay 1:1.
Don't Pass Line Bet
The opposite of the Pass Line bet. You bet on the shooter to lose by rolling a 2, 3, or 12 on the come-out roll, or by rolling a 7 before rolling the established point. These bets pay 1:1.
Come Bet
Similar to the Pass Line bet, but it can be placed after the come-out roll. You're betting on the shooter to roll a 7 or 11 to win, or a 2, 3, or 12 to lose. These bets pay 1:1.
Don't Come Bet
Similar to the Don't Pass Line bet, but it can be placed after the come-out roll. You're betting on the shooter to roll a 2, 3, or 12 to win, or a 7 or 11 to lose. These bets pay 1:1.
Place Bets
You bet on specific numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) to be rolled before a 7. Payouts vary for each number.
Field Bet
You bet on the next roll resulting in a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12. Payouts vary depending on which number is rolled.
Hardway Bets
You bet on pairs, like two 4s, to be rolled before either a 7 is rolled or the pair value is rolled the “easy” way. For example, a bet on two 4s would lose if a 5 and a 3 are rolled. Payouts vary for each specific pair.
RULES OF CRAPS
The Come-Out Roll
The initial roll of the dice is the come-out roll. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, Pass Line bets win; if they roll a 2, 3, or 12, Pass Line bets lose. Any other number becomes the "point."
Establishing The Point
If the shooter doesn't win or lose on the come-out roll, the rolled number becomes the point. The shooter continues rolling until they roll the point number again or roll a 7, at which point Pass Line bets lose.
GAMEPLAY
Place A Bet
Before the come-out roll, place your wager on the betting area of your chosen bet type.
Come-Out Roll
The shooter rolls the dice. The results determine the fate of Pass Line, Don't Pass Line, Come, and Don't Come bets.
Point Establishment
If a point is established, the round continues until the point number is rolled again or a 7 is rolled.
Additional Bets
You can make additional bets like Place Bets, Field Bets, or Hardway Bets in the middle of a round.
Winning and Losing
Payouts are determined by the specific rules of your chosen bets. If your bet wins, you'll receive your winnings. If it loses, your bet is taken by the house.
