Starting Position Matters
Qualifying position has a big effect on finishing position. So make sure you know where your drivers are
starting the race.
Every Track Is Different
At some tracks, drivers can start at the back of the pack and finish towards the front — so you can
target drivers with poor starting positions. At other tracks, it's the opposite.
Count The Laps
Drivers can score up to 0.2 pts on each lap. So a race with 110 laps offers a maximum of 22 lap pts,
while a race with 500 laps offers up to 100 lap pts.
Practice Makes Perfect
Pay attention to the practice sessions leading up to a race. Often times, the cars that are fast in
practice will be fast in the race, too.
Winning Isn’t Everything
Finishing position points are great. But the two biggest separators in scoring are for laps led and
place differential.
