Jordy Nelson Calls Out Packers' Front Office Over Aaron Rodgers Contract

The future of Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers is a hot topic around the league. The 37-year-old just capped on an MVP season, but he wants clarity from the team regarding the long-term with 2020 first-round draft pick Jordan Love waiting in the wings.
Former Packers wideout Jordy Nelson called out Green Bay for the way they've handled the Rodgers situation this offseason.

A contract extension would be one way for Green Bay to give Rodgers the assurance he needs, but that hasn't seemed like a priority for the Packers this offseason. And Nelson is dumbfounded by their reluctance to commit to Rodgers.
The three-time QB clearly showed what he's capable of even as he nears 40 years old. He put up 4,299 yards and a league-leading 48 TDs (with just 5 INTs) in 2020. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers showed this past season that an aging QB can still lead a Super Bowl contender if there's weapons around him, providing a blueprint for the Packers to follow.
Rodgers has certainly earned the right to know where he stands with the team. Yet Green Bay remains mum on their plans, causing tension and prompting thoughts of possible trades. That's not where Packers fans want this to go, but it could head in that direction if they drag out their QB decision.
