                  Betting on
the Moneyline
A moneyline bet is one of the most straightforward wagers in sports betting. It’s just a bet on which team you think will win the game.
For instance, you bet on the Maple Leafs moneyline; if they win the game, you win your bet. And if they lose, well, you know what happens.
First to 5
A “First to 5” bet is a wager exclusively offered on FanDuel. It’s as simple as it sounds – you place a bet on the team you think will be the first to have five shots on goal.
This bet usually settles early in the game, so it’s a great option if you’re looking for fast action.

                  First Goal Scorer
There are lots of different NHL prop bets you can make on FanDuel, but one of the most popular is “First Goal Scorer”.
This bet is a wager on which player you think will score the first goal. Typically there will be up to 20 players available for this bet, so whether you want to roll with a superstar or take a long-shot underdog for a potential big payout, you have a lot of options.
PARLAYS
A parlay is a bet that combines two or more selections into one larger bet. For a parlay to win, each of the individual legs (or selections) must win. For instance, say you think the Maple Leafs and the Jets are going to dominate their next matchups. With a parlay, you can combine bets from both games – if all legs hit, you’ll win more than if you placed each bet separately. But if you miss one leg, you’ll lose the parlay.

A Same Game Parlay is just like a basic parlay, but it allows you to combine two or more legs from a single game. For example, you can bet the Leafs to win, that there will be a first period goal in the first 10 minutes, AND take the over on total goals - and you'll win even bigger than betting them separately if every leg hits.
Futures Bets on the Stanley Cup
A futures bet is a wager on an event that happens later in the season. Popular futures bets include wagers on which team will take home the Stanley Cup and who will win MVP.
The odds on the next Stanley Cup winner come out soon after the trophy is hoisted and appear on FanDuel throughout the regular season. The odds are adjusted based on individual game results, injuries, and trades; but, once you place your bet, your odds are locked in, regardless of what happens next.
For example, the 2023 Stanley Cup odds have the Bruins as the favorites to win, with futures odds at +380, meaning you could win $380 on a $100 bet.
