Here’s How to Watch Every Kentucky Derby Prep Race in 2024
The 150th Kentucky Derby is shaping up to be bigger than ever, and FanDuel TV will be there every step of the way.
FanDuel TV is the only network offering fans coverage of every prep race that determines which horses will enter the starting gate at Churchill Downs.
FanDuel TV's "Road to The Kentucky Derby" will deliver live coverage of the official Kentucky Derby points races, featuring in-depth profiles of contenders, their human connections, feature stories, and expert analysis from racing experts and handicappers.
The coverage will include updates on official points standings and FanDuel TV’s Top Contenders, ranked and discussed by the network’s analysts.

Kentucky Derby Prep Races Explained
The Kentucky Derby field is limited to 20 contenders, determined by a tiered points system based on qualifying prep races both in the U.S. and globally. Points are awarded to the top five finishers in each prep race, with the top 18 horses earning a spot in the starting gate in the Kentucky Derby.
