When is Picks shutting down?

Here is a summary of key dates to be aware of:

  • April 23rd — Last day contests will be available.
  • April 24th — All contests will be settled and any winnings will be credited to your account.
  • End of May — The Picks app will fully shut down.

The Picks app will remain live through the end of May so you have time to withdraw your funds. After that, you can continue to access your FanDuel account, balance, and other information through our other FanDuel products. For more details, see the sections below.


What will happen to the funds remaining in my account?

Your balance will remain securely in your FanDuel account. You can access it through the FanDuel Picks app until it fully shuts down at the end of May,

If you have a remaining balance when Picks is no longer operational, you have a few options:

  1. Withdraw your funds. You may withdraw your balance directly through the Picks app while it remains live. Please note that deposited funds can only be returned to the original payment method used at the time of deposit. For more details, refer to How can I refund or cancel a deposit on our support site. If at any time you want to withdraw your funds and you can no longer access the Picks app, you can withdraw your funds from the Daily Fantasy Sports or Faceoff apps.
  2. Use your deposited funds on another platform. Any deposited funds can be applied toward activity on our Daily Fantasy Sports or Faceoff apps.
  3. Use your winnings across our full suite of products (excluding Predicts). Funds earned through winnings may be used across Sportsbook, Casino, Daily Fantasy Sports, Faceoff, and Horse Racing, where available in your state.

We recommend taking action before Picks is fully discontinued to ensure uninterrupted access to your funds.


Can I transfer my balance to another FanDuel product?

Yes — your funds will automatically carry over to other FanDuel products, no action required. Here's how it breaks down:

  • Deposited funds will be immediately available for use in FanDuel's Daily Fantasy Sports and Faceoff apps.
  • Winnings can be used across Daily Fantasy Sports, Faceoff, Sportsbook, Casino, and Horse Racing, where available in your state.

How can I access my tax information?

Your tax information will remain accessible through all FanDuel products — including Daily Fantasy Sports, Faceoff, Sportsbook, Casino, and Horse Racing — with the exception of FanDuel Predicts.

When is the last day I can log in to the Picks app?

The Picks app will remain available to log in to through the end of May. However, please note that April 23rd is the last day new contests will be posted. From April 24th through the end of May, the app will be accessible solely to withdraw funds and view historical data — no new contests will be available during this period.


Is FanDuel's Fantasy product still available for me to use? 

Yes, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Sports app is available in legal states across the nation and new users can Play $5 and Get $15. More details on contests and playing DFS is available here
