White Sox News: Chicago Gets Good Update on Michael Kopech's Injury Rehab

It's been over two weeks since Michael Kopech has pitched for the Chicago White Sox as the right-hander has been sidelined with a hamstring issue. Kopech's been lights out for Chicago this season, pitching to a 1.72 ERA in 14 total appearances (3 starts).

However, the White Sox got a bit of good news in Kopech's injury recovery. According to reports, Kopech will resume bullpen sessions and likely throw a simulated game in the coming days.

Chicago already owns the fourth-best pitching staff in baseball with their 3.22 team ERA. Adding Kopech back to the mix, with his sub-2.00 ERA, is surely a welcome sign for White Sox fans.

Currently, the White Sox are taking over as the American League favorites. Chicago is 38-24, leading the AL Central division by 4.5 games.
