Two 2-8 teams meet in Week 12 as the New York Jets face the Houston Texans. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Texans slated as 2.5-point favorites in this battle of struggling squads.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 12 showdown.

Elijah Moore Fantasy

Start Elijah Moore, WR, New York Jets: Elijah Moore had his breakout peformance with a whopping 29.6 PPR points in Week 11. Moore's usage is trending up with an average of 7.4 targets over the last five games, which he's converted into 5.0 receptions and 69.8 yards per contest. Corey Davis is questionable for this matchup, which would open up an ever bigger role for Moore. He has plenty of upside against a defense in the top 10 for most PPR points surrendered to WRs this season.

Brandin Cooks Fantasy

Start Brandin Cooks, WR, Houston Texans: Brandin Cooks has a golden bounce-back opportunity in this game. He's coming off of a 2-catch, 18-yard performance in Week 11, but prior to that he was averaging 9.3 targets, 6.3 receptions and 71.2 yards per game as the Texans' main offensive weapon. He gets an extremely exploitable matchup in the Jets this week, who rank dead-last in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA metric and are giving up the most passing yards per game (282.2). He should make things right for fantasy managers after disappointing last time out.

Tevin Coleman Fantasy

Sit Tevin Coleman, RB, New York Jets: Tevin Coleman isn't the Jets RB to target after Michael Carter's injury. Coleman's been less than impressive this year, turning 30 total attempts into 118 yards with zero TDs. He offers very little receiving upside as well with only 7 targets all season. Ty Johnson, meanwhile, has 144 yards and a rushing TD this year. He's also the preferred passing game back with 38 targets for 25 receptions, 271 yards and 2 TDs. Johnson is the much more appealing option in a contest where New York is slated to trail and could abandon the ground attack.

David Johnson/Rex Burkhead Fantasy

Sit David Johnson/Rex Burkhead, RB, Houston Texans: This backfield is worth avoiding entirely. Neither David Johnson nor Rex Burkhead has done much following Mark Ingram's departure after Week 7. Johnson has 19 rushing attempts for 33 yards in that span, adding 7 receptions for 44 yards. Burkhead has 24 attempts for 70 yards, plus 3 receptions for 27 yards. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor poses a huge threat to their production with 3 rushing TDs in four games, including 2 last week alone. These RBs are very risky plays with the fantasy playoffs approaching.
