Week 11 Sunday Night Football Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Chiefs vs Chargers

Updated:

Week11 of the 2022 NFL season features an exciting AFC West showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football. The 7-2 Chiefs hold a two-game lead over the second-place Chargers and are listed as 5.5-point road favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's our start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 11 Monday Night Football matchup.

Kadarius Toney Fantasy

Start Kadarius Toney, WR, Kansas City Chiefs: Kadarius Toney has gone from a complete non-factor in fantasy earlier this season to a must-start in Week 11. Going from the New York Giants to the Kansas City Chiefs has caused his fantasy value to skyrocket, as he now has Patrick Mahomes throwing to him and Andy Reid scheming up ways to get him the ball. He's also poised to lead Kansas City's receiving corps in Week 11 with JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) out and Mecole Hardman (abdomen) landing on the IR. After racking up 90 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in Week 10, Toney has a good chance to blow up against a Chargers defense that's allowing the fourth-most points per game (25.3) in the NFL.

Gerald Everett Fantasy

Start Gerald Everett, TE, Los Angeles Chargers: Tight end is a volatile position in fantasy, but Gerald Everett has been one of the most consistent producers at the position all season. The injury-related absences of Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) have helped Everett form a stronger connection with Justin Herbert, which has translated to fantasy success on a weekly basis. The 28-year-old has seen at least 6 targets in six of his last eight games and has topped 50 receiving yards four times this year, making him a good bet for another solid fantasy performance in what should be a pass-heavy game against the Chiefs.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Fantasy

Sit Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, Kansas City Chiefs: Clyde Edwards-Helaire started the season on fire but has fallen out of favor in Kansas City's backfield recently. Isiah Pacheco has drawn three straight starts for the Chiefs at running back and appears to have surpassed CEH on the depth chart, especially after their drastically different Week 10 performances. Pacheco rushed for 82 yards on 16 carries (both season-highs) while Edwards-Helaire didn't get a single carry. With just 4 carries and 5 rushing yards over his last two games combined, CEH is a clear fade this week.

Josh Palmer Fantasy

Sit Josh Palmer, WR, Los Angeles Chargers: Josh Palmer has had a nice run as LA's top receiver with Allen and Williams sidelined. However, that run appears to be coming to an end. Both players are listed as game-time decisions for Sunday, but there's a good chance that both of them play after practicing fully on Friday. If they do, Palmer can likely kiss most of his targets goodbye. Only start him if Allen and/or Williams are ruled out.
