The Minnesota Vikings currently hold the No. 2 seed in the NFC and have already clinched the NFC North. They head into Week 16 with a new quarterback in house, though.

Vikings Sign Josh Rosen

The Vikings have signed former first-round pick Josh Rosen to their practice squad. With just Kirk Cousins and backup QB Nick Mullens on the active roster, signing Rosen provides some additional depth for Minnesota down the stretch.

Rosen -- the 10th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft -- never had his career materialize in the NFL as a starter. He was replaced by Kyler Murray in Arizona after just one season as the team's starter and has been relegated to backup duties ever since.

Rosen previously played for the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons as well before joining the Vikings. His career numbers are disappointing, however, as he's completed just 54.0% of his passes while throwing nearly twice as many interceptions (21) as touchdowns (12).

The 25-year-old is likely happy to have a job, though, especially for a Super Bowl contender. Minnesota currently has the seventh-best Super Bowl odds (+2100) on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
