It's been a long time since the San Francisco 49ers have been a team known for their high-powered passing attack, but that doesn't mean they haven't had some great talents.

Brandon Lloyd ended up finding more success late in his career after leaving San Francisco, but his three-year tenure with the 49ers included a play that die-hard Niners fans will never forget.

It's fitting that this catch came against the Giants, serving almost as a precursor to the similar catch Odell Beckham Jr. would famously make on Monday Night Football years later.

This heroic effort from Lloyd was all for naught, unfortunately, as the play ended up being called back because of an offensive holding penalty.
