Bartolo Colón has become universally beloved throughout Major League Baseball over his long career. Last pitching for the Texans Rangers in 2018 at the ripe age of 45, Colón has played for a total of 12 different MLB teams, which could help explain why he's loved by so many.

While he's played for three teams since his time with the New York Mets, spending three years in Flushing endured him to the fans like few others.

So when "Big Sexy" stepped up to the plate in San Diego and rocked one over the fence, it made him an instant legend.

What an electric scene. It was a no-doubter too!

Colón and his teammates couldn't help but put on a huge smile as he trotted around the bases and it was well deserved. Seeing someone so beloved pull off something like that should put a smile on everyone's face.
