Trace McSorley Stats

Trace McSorley's draft stock was at an all-time high heading into the 2018-19 college football season thanks to an impressive junior campaign the year prior. In that season, McSorley completed 66.5 percent of his passes for 3,570 yards and 28 touchdowns, and he also rushed for 491 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. Unfortunately, the Penn State product noticeably regressed in his senior year.

Despite a lack of ideal size and arm strength that other quarterbacks in the 2019 class have, McSorley is still a proven dual-threat QB that can handle RPO (run-pass option) duties, and he is comfortable throwing from the pocket when necessary. Rediscovering the accuracy he displayed as a junior, however, should be the key to his success at the next level.

Carolina Panthers (No. 116)

There's a lot of uncertainty surrounding Cam Newton's health status for the 2019 season, and if he's unable to play, the Panthers will likely need someone to compete with Taylor Heinicke for starting duties in Charlotte. While he doesn't have Newton's size, McSorely plays a similar game to the former No. 1 overall pick, and he could allow Carolina to continue incorporating RPO and zone-read plays in the Panthers' offense.

New customers will get 40/1 on any of the Final Four teams to win the tournament.
