In just three short years, wide receiver A.J. Brown has cemented himself as a key member of the Tennessee Titans' offense. With his rookie contract set to expire and wide receivers hauling in massive paydays throughout the league, Titans fans are undoubtedly anxious about locking up their young wideout to a long-term deal.

General manager Jon Robinson discusses this possibility during the NFL owners meetings on Sunday.

A.J. Brown Extension

"A.J. is an important part of what we do. He's a great teammate, he works hard, he's about what we're about. A.J. is a Titan and we want to keep A.J. a Titan. And that's part of our goal this offseason, or whenever that manifests itself, to come to an agreement to keep him around."

Robinson sings pretty high praise of the Pro Bowl wide receiver, making his goal pretty clear-cut: "we want to keep A.J. a Titan."

Brown's rookie deal is up after the 2022 season, but the two sides have already undergone preliminary contract extension talks during last month's combine. The 2019 second-round draftee from Ole Miss compiled 185 catches for 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns in his three years working with the offense.

It's still a waiting game at this point, but Titans fans can be rest assured the front office is doing everything in their power to keep Brown in Tennessee for the long haul.
