Surprise Player Turning Heads at Bills Training Camp

The Buffalo Bills have their sights set on a Super Bowl as they prepare for the start of the regular season. They're loaded with talent on both sides of the ball, but every championship team has a couple surprise players who step up at some point in the season.
It turns out wide receiver Jake Kumerow is one under-the-radar candidate to make an impact in 2021.
? Thread: As if the Jake Kumerow hype hasn’t been enough already, he was a personal highlight reel during 1/1s. Twice against Tre White, who had excellent coverage. Like right on him giving very little room. But Josh Allen threw two perfect balls that Kumerow hauled in… ?

Jake Kumerow Buffalo Bills
Kumerow is earning rave reviews after making several highlight plays during the first days of training camp. He's had a chance to see extra reps with Emmanuel Sanders sidelined due to a foot injury, and he's making the most of it. Head coach Sean McDermott said Kumerow is "off to a great start in camp," which is high praise for the former practice squad wideout.
Kumerow has bounced around the league after going undrafted in 2015. He played in 19 games for the Green Bay Packers from 2018-19 and saw six appearances with the Bills in 2020. The New Orleans Saints picked up the 29-year-old after Buffalo waived him in December, but the Bills quickly added him back to the roster once again this offseason.
It's clear that Buffalo values Kumerow's presence, and his play in training camp puts him in prime position to make the 53-man roster when the regular season kicks off.
