Super Bowl 54 is tied 10-10 at halftime, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes remains the favorite to take home the Super Bowl MVP award.

Mahomes closed at +110 to win the award before kickoff, and that's exactly where FanDuel Sportsbook has him at halftime as well.

Mahomes didn't do a ton of damage through the air against a stout San Francisco 49ers secondary, racking up 104 yards with no TDs and no interceptions on 12-of-18 passing.

On the ground he added 11 yards on two attempts, also scoring the game's first touchdown though, keeping him at the forefront of the MVP conversation.

This game is as close as can be, with just a 1.5-point spread halfway through. It's unlikely that a player from the losing team takes home the MVP award, but if the Chiefs come away with a win then Mahomes has a great shot at winning the hardware.

Next in the pecking order after Mahomes is Jimmy Garoppolo (+250), with Deebo Samuel (+1000) checking in at third place after gaining 62 yards on six touches.
