Curtis Samuel has yet to make his Washington Football Team debut after offseason injury troubles carried into the start of the year. Samuel has begun to ramp up his activity, though, as his team prepares for a Week 4 clash against the Atlanta Falcons.
Head coach Ron Rivera had a positive update on Samuel's injury to start the week.

Rivera said that the coaches are "fired up" to see how much progress Samuel has made in recent days. That seems to be a great indication that the wideout is getting closer to a return after starting the year on the injured reserve list.
Samuel is eligible to be activated off of IR ahead of Week 4, and he'd provide a huge boost to this offense if he's ready to go. The deep threat could immediately help open up the field for top wideout Terry McLaurin and give this team a legit 1-2 receiving threat to complement running back Antonio Gibson.
