With the 2020 MLB season officially in the books, FanDuel Sportsbook has already released odds to win the 2021 World Series for every team.

The Boston Red Sox may not have the same players they did when they won the World Series back in 2018, but they still have the talent to compete as soon as next season. Their odds to win it all in 2021 are way too low.

The Red Sox come in ranked No. 20 in the MLB with odds set at +4500 to win the 2021 World Series. The Red Sox struggled through a dismal 2020 season as they finished 24-36 and came in last place in the AL East division, but bring back a lot of well rounded players in 2021.

All-star shortstop Xander Bogaerts (11 HR) and third baseman Ravael Devers (43 RBI) return to bolster what is a very young, but hungry lineup of hitters. The Red Sox should also get some help in their starting rotation as Eduardo Rodriguez is set to return. Plus, if the Red Sox can go out in the offseason and make some moves, their roster could become even better.

The Red Sox could surprise a lot of people in 2021 and bounce back right into playoff contention. So while there is still work to do, their odds remain disrespectful.
