Raheem Mostert was off to an incredible start to the 2020 campaign. He had 151 yards from scrimmage and a TD in Week 1 and followed that up 107 yards from scrimmage and a score in the first half of Week 2.
However, a knee injury has put a damper on his incredible start. He has already been ruled out for the rest of the game, unfortunately. Any extended absence would boost Tevin Coleman and Jerick McKinnon's fantasy football value.
Raheem Mostert Injury Update
The fact that Mostert was quickly ruled out for the rest of the day does not bode well for his status going forward. That said, we still have not been given a concrete update on the injury.
Fantasy managers will need to monitor this situation closely as it develops.
Tevin Coleman Fantasy Outlook
Coleman would be the most obvious beneficiary. He didn't play much in Week 1, but that was expected. The air quality made it difficult for Coleman to play much, due to an underlying health condition.
Coleman has gotten 10 carries already, but he's only recorded 4 rushing yards. He does have 2 catches for 28 yards as a receiver, though. That volume is going to make Coleman the RB to target in SF if Mostert misses a few weeks.
Jerick McKinnon Fantasy Outlook
McKinnon has missed each of the last two seasons, but he's looked healthy so far in 2020. He's only seen 2 carries on the day, but he's already recorded 61 rushing yards. He also had 44 yards from scrimmage and a TD in Week 1.
That efficiency will make McKinnon worth keeping an eye on.
