Excitement for the Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills Week 11 matchup has been tainted by the threat of blizzard-like conditions to the local area. Depending on the timing of this major snowfall, it's possible this game is moved to a neutral site instead of Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY.
One of these potential backup sites has been revealed.
NFL insider Dan Graziano reported early Thursday morning that while "it's not clear where" the game will be played, Detroit is an option that "makes a lot of sense."
Detroit is on the the road against the New York Giants Sunday, and the location is close to both Buffalo and Cleveland. Of course, the Lions play at Ford Field, a domed stadium that is not impacted by severe weather.
Graziano also indicates that the NFL continues to keep tabs on the storm and situation. It's possible a decision is made "as late as Friday if needed."
Sunday's clash is currently scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds show the Bills as 7.5-point favorites.
