The Philadephia Phillies are currently in the thick of a battle for supremacy in the NL East. With a 21-20 record, they trail the first-place New York Mets by just a single game. Considering how just four games separate the top from the bottom of the division, the Phillies could use any kind of help they can get.

Fortunately, the Phillies will get some help in the form of outfield Bryce Harper. The 28-year-old, who has been out with a shoulder injury, is scheduled for a full return to the lineup on Tuesday night in a game against the Miami Marlins.

Bryce Harper Injury Update

Harper had injured his shoulder over the weekend, causing him to leave in the middle of a 4-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday. Despite being hurt, Harper was forced to play again on Sunday as too many of Philadelphia's bench bats were injured.

Now back in the starting lineup, this is some encouraging news from Philadelphia's star outfielder regarding his shoulder injury.

So far, Harper has been looking pretty good this season. While some of his statistics could be higher (just 7 home runs and 11 RBIs), he's seeing the ball the best that he has since 2017. He's currently slashing at .307/.436/.561, which gives off the impression that the floodgates should open for Harper sooner than later.

FanDuel Sportsbook is currently favoring the Phillies to beat the Marlins on Tuesday night at -178 odds. Overall, Miami (+150) shouldn't pose as too much of a threat to Philadelphia, especially with Harper back in the lineup.
