It should come as no surprise to anyone who watched any Kansas City Chiefs football last year that Patrick Mahomes is favored to lead the NFL in passing yards in 2019 at +360 according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Mahomes was simply incredible last season. He threw for 5,097 yards and was second only to Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers (5,129) in that category.

Roethlisberger, however comes in with the fifth-best odds to lead the league in passing yards, as the market is clearly expecting less production out of him following star receiver Antonio Brown's departure from the team.

The Atlanta Falcons' Matt Ryan comes in right behind Mahomes, at +500 after finishing third in the league in passing yards last season (4,924).

Surprisingly, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff only has the 11th best odds to win the passing yards title at +2000. Goff finished fourth in the league in passing yards a season ago, and has the benefit of playing in one of the league's most quarterback-friendly offenses.

While Mahomes certainly deserves to be the favorite, the return on him is low relative to someone like Goff, who might actually offer bettors more value here with nearly five times the payout.
