A 20-pick range covers Baldwin's draft stock, with two of the three highlighted mock drafts projecting him as a second-round selection. Nevertheless, he's a talented player when healthy and if the injuries are behind him, Baldwin could be a second-round steal if he falls.
Patrick Baldwin Jr. Stats
2021-22 Milwaukee Panthers (Freshman)
- 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blocks, 2.1 turnovers, 1.5 3-pointers, 28.5 minutes per game. 34.4% field goal, 26.6% 3-point shooting.
Baldwin began his collegiate career with a strong start, averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds through the first two games. Unfortunately, things fell off from there as he averaged just 9.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in the subsequent nine games. Shooting accuracy is definitely the biggest concern surrounding Baldwin, especially as a power forward. If he can get better at that and learn how to use his body more effectively, it'll be interesting to see if he can reach his potential.
