College football powerhouse Ohio State is once again set to have several high NFL Draft picks in 2023. Quarterback C.J. Stroud and offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. lead the pack, though there's a host of others that could hear their names called.

To be eligible for the NFL Draft, players must have been out of high school for at least three years and used up all of their college eligibility. However, underclassmen and prospects who have graduated early can also request permission from the league to be draft-eligible.
Five non-seniors are part of Ohio State's 2023 draft hopefuls. C.J. Stroud, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Luke Wypler, Ronnie Hickman and Paris Johnson Jr. are forgoing the rest of their college eligibility despite still having years remaining.

Most of the NFL Draft is comprised of seniors who spent four years in college before attempting to enter the pros. This allows those who don't break out early to continue their development in hopes of closing out their collegiate careers strong.
Ohio State has 10 seniors looking to make the jump to the NFL. This group is headlined by offensive tackle Dawand Jones, who is projected as a potential late first or early second-round pick. He's joined by EDGE Zach Harrison, cornerback Cam Brown, defensive tackle Taron Vincent, linebacker Palaie Gaoteote, kicker Noah Ruggles, safety Tanner McCallister, defensive tackle Jerron Cage, long snapper Bradley Robinson and tight end/fullback Mitch Rossi.
