The Philadelphia 76ers (35-19) aim to beat the Brooklyn Nets (33-22) for the third time this season when the two NBA teams collide at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 11.

The 76ers aim to win their second straight game following Friday's 119-108 win over the New York Knicks, led by Joel Embiid's game-high 35 points. Meanwhile, the Nets hope to keep their momentum going after securing a 116-105 victory against the Chicago Bulls earlier this week.

Can the 76ers go up 3-0 on the season series? Or will the Nets win back-to-back home games for the first time this month?

Nets vs. 76ers Betting Trends

  • Philadelphia is 12-5 straight up in its last 17 games against Brooklyn.
  • Brooklyn is 9-11 straight up as the underdog this season.
  • Philadelphia is 6-2 against the spread (ATS) in its last eight February games.
  • Brooklyn is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games.
  • The total has hit the over in eight of the last 12 Philadelphia-Brooklyn matchups.

Nets vs. 76ers Prediction & Pick

As mentioned above, the 76ers have already beaten the Nets twice this season, outscoring them by an average of 6.5 points. While the first two meetings were playing in Philly, changing cities isn't an issue for the 76ers considering that they've won five of their last eight trips to Barclays Center.

The Nets' effort against the Bulls was solid, but Chicago is a sub-.500 club while the 76ers are championship contenders. Philadelphia's wins over Brooklyn this season also occurred when the latter had at least one or both of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in the lineup, which isn't the case anymore.

While I expect a competitive effort from the scrappy Nets, they don't have anyone to go head-to-head with Joel Embiid and James Harden. Embiid is averaging a 33.6-point, 10.7-rebound double-double over his last 15 games while Harden is tallying 19.8 points with 10.8 assists in his last 13.

With new Brooklyn arrivals Cam Johnson and Mikal Bridges being questionable for tonight's contest, being shorthanded will only make things tougher for the Nets. Look for the 76ers' star power to give them the edge tonight.

Final Score Prediction: 76ers: 116 | Nets: 108

Nets vs. 76ers Best Bet

For tonight's best bet, I'm backing the total going under 224.5 points. Although the total has gone over in eight of the last 12 Nets-76ers matchups, the offense hasn't been there for either team lately. Philadelphia is only averaging 105 points in its last three contests while Brooklyn has averaged 114.7 PPG over that stretch.

With the total falling under 224.5 points in four of the last six matchups between these teams at Barclays Center, I'm sticking with the under again tonight.

Bet: Under 224.5 Points (-110)
