The NASCAR Cup Series is back at the Richmond Raceway this weekend for the Federated Auto Parts 400 on Sunday. Of course, before the race starts all attention will be on Saturday's qualifying run and results.

Qualifying at Richmond will use a one-lap format. Following a 15-minute warmup/practice session, drivers will compete in two groups, running a single-lap qualifier. The five fastest drivers in each group will advance to the final qualifying round, and those 10 drivers will each run one more lap to determine the first five rows in the starting lineup. And naturally, the pole position will go to the fastest driver in that final qualifying round.
