Instacart 500 Fantasy Picks
*Note: All career results rankings are among active drivers in this weekend's Instacart 500 with three or more appearances at the Phoenix Raceway track unless otherwise noted.
When it comes to average finishing position on this track, no driver has a better record than Kevin Harvick and his 8.92 mark. Harvick also has a vice grip on winning here, with the most wins (9) at Phoenix and the best winning percentage (25.00%). In Logano's 36 total races here, he's placed in the top 5 18 times (best rate, 50.00%) and the top-10 25 times (second-best rate, 69.44%). In addition to everything on this résumé, Harvick has also led the most total laps on this track by more than 400 ahead of second place with 1,662.
Even though Harvick's dominance across almost every major category at Phoenix is relatively unparalleled, Kyle Busch comes in second behind him. Busch does actually have the edge over Harvick in top-10 finishing rate with a field-best 70.97%, but beyond that Busch has the second-most wins (3), third-best top-5 finishing rate (38.71%), second-most top-20 finishes (26) and second-most laps led with 1,190. Perhaps, most importantly, among all drivers' last six appearances here, Busch actually the best average finishing position with a smoking 3.33 and the most wins with two.
Sticking with the trend of recent performances, what better driver to look to than last Sunday's Pennzoil 400 winner Kyle Larson? Well, Larson has also been hot in his recent races here at Phoenix, posting the third-best average finishing position at 7.00. Even though Larson has yet to clinch the checkered flag on this track in 13 total appearances, he has placed in the top 5 in four of his last five races here.
