After Chase Elliott took the checkered flag at last Sunday's Watkins Glen International, the NASCAR world is turning its attention toward the 2019 Consumers Energy 400 at the Michigan International Speedway.

As we look ahead to this Sunday's race, let's examine a few drivers to keep an eye on when building your fantasy team.

Denny Hamlin
Denny Hamlin has been an absolute force lately. Including a win at the Gander RV 400 at Pocono Raceway on July 28, Hamlin now boasts top-3 finishes in three of his last four starts and top-5 finishes in each of his last four races. However, Hamlin has never won the Consumers Energy 400, nor has he ever won a race on the Michigan International Speedway track.

Kevin Harvick
Kevin Harvick is another name trending in the right direction after recent performances ahead of Sunday's race. Harvick won the 2019 Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 on July 21, and he has finished no worse than seventh in each of his two races since that win. As the Consumers Energy 400 defending champion, Harvick also has a great history at the Michigan International Speedway, leading more laps (172) on this track than any other driver over his/her last five races, respectively.

Joey Logano
Joey Logano certainly hasn't been in the same sort of striking distance as Harvick or Hamlin in recent races, however, similar to Hamlin, Logano does have a winning pedigree at this track in years past. Logano won the Consumers Energy 400 (then known as the Pure Michigan 400) in 2013, and he's posted a top-10 finish in four of his last five races at the Michigan International Speedway. Logano has also led the second-most laps (164) at this track over the last five races.
