NASCAR Fantasy Picks for Alsco 500

After Brad Keselowski took home the checkered flag in last Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 race, the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series turns its attention to this Wednesday night and the Alsco Uniforms 500 in North Carolina.

With the next race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, let's take a look at three drivers to consider when building your NASCAR fantasy team for the 2020 Alsco 500 at 8 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 27.

Alsco 500 Fantasy Picks

*Note: All career results rankings are among active drivers in this Wednesday's Alsco 500 race and on the Charlotte Motor Speedway track unless otherwise noted.

Kyle Busch
Kyle Busch performed well in last Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 on this very same track, finishing in fifth place as both one of our fantasy picks as well as the betting favorite to take first place this weekend, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Even though Busch boasts just one victory here (2018 Coca-Cola 600), his 45.16 percent top-5 finishing rate and 61.29 percent top-10 finishing rate are the best marks among all drivers with more than one race here. Busch's 2.67 average finishing position on this track is the best among all active drivers' respective last three performances here.

Brad Keselowski
It's hard not to like a defending champion on a track, especially when it's Brad Keselowski. Keselowski took first place in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 on this track, but his career body of work at Charlotte is, perhaps, the most efficient in the field. In his 20 total races at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Keselowski has finished in the top-20 spots 17 times. That 85.00 percent top-20 finishing rate is the highest mark among all participants in Wednesday's race with at least two prior appearances on this track.

Martin Truex Jr.
Martin Truex Jr. didn't take the checkered flag here last Sunday, but he did finish in a respectable sixth place. Truex Jr. has an impressive body of work on this track over his career, but his three most recent performances prove that trend is alive and well. Only Kyle Busch's 2.67 average finishing position leads Truex Jr.'s 3.00 mark across the last three races here, while Truex Jr. has also finished in the top-10 spots in each of those last three results and in the top-5 spots in two of them.
