NASCAR Fantasy Picks for 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway

After Kyle Larson grabbed the checkered flag with a visit to victory lane last week at Dover International Speedway, the NASCAR circuit and playoffs continue this Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. EST with the 1000Bulbs.com 500 at the famed Talladega Superspeedway. This weekend's contest is also the second race of the season held at Talladega after the 2019 GEICO 500 was run here back in April.
Let's take a look at some drivers to watch out for this week at Talladega when putting together your fantasy team.
A positive day for @MartinTruex_Jr.

Joey Logano
Joey Logano has seen some recent success at Talladega and could watch that continue this Sunday. In his last five races at the legendary track, Logano has finished in the top 10 four times, which includes one win. Additionally, he has led in 18.57 percent of laps in those five races, which is the most of any top-15 driver at Talladega (based on average finish) in that time frame.
Kurt Busch
Kurt Busch is the driver who is second to Logano in terms of percentage of laps led at Talladega over that same stretch, with 12.24 percent. Busch has not visited victory lane in any of his 37 career races at Talladega, but he has snagged three top-10 finishes in his last five races on this track. In his last 10 races at Talladega, Busch has grabbed a top-10 finish seven times.

Denny Hamlin
Another driver who has seen similar success at Talladega is Denny Hamlin, who, despite failing to grab the checkered flag in any of his last 10 races at Talladega, has still finished in the top 10 in two of his last five contests on this track. Hamlin's lone career win at Talladega came back in May of 2014. If Hamlin can see some slight improvement on his recent runs here, he could be the first one across the line come Sunday.
