NASCAR Fantasy Picks for Ambetter 301

Chase Elliott took home the checkered flag in dominant fashion in last week's Quaker State 400. Now racing fans will turn their attention to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for this week's Ambetter 301 Cup Series race on Sunday.

With the next Cup Series race rapidly approaching with a 3 p.m. ET start time on Sunday, July 15, let's take a look at some drivers to consider when building your fantasy lineup to win the Ambetter 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this week.

Ambetter 301 Fantasy Picks

Chase Elliott
We never want to get blinded by the hype of a recent winner, but there's good reason to like Chase Elliott's chances of going back-to-back this week. New Hampshire is a short, flat track, and numberFire's Jim Sannes highlights that Elliott has been elite on those tracks this season, with average running positions of 4th, 10th and 4th. Elliott also looked great at New Hampshire in 2021, leading 53 laps.

William Byron
If you like those average running positions for Elliott, you're going to love William Byron's. Byron's aggregate average running position of 5.0 across those three races is tied for first place with Ryan Blaney, who is the +600 favorite to win this race according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NASCAR odds. It's obviously easy to like playing Blaney, but Byron could give you a little more value thanks to some recent struggles.

Brad Keselowski
It's easy to be low on Brad Keselowski right now. Since Daytona, his only finish better than 10th this season was in the All-Star race. He's also finished 30th or worse in three of his last nine races. That has him ranking just 23rd in Driver Rating on the year. This is an interesting spot for a possible redemption race, however. Nobody has led a higher percentage of laps at New Hampshire over the last three races than Keselowski's 27.8%, and he's one of only four drivers to place top-10 in all three of those races.
