List of Active Eagles Players Andy Reid Coached in Philadelphia Before Super Bowl 57

Super Bowl 57 will have a ton of personal meaning to Andy Reid, as the head coach tries to lead the Kansas City Chiefs over his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles. There's no sort of revenge narrative at play here given Reid left on good terms, but his past and present colliding is still an intriguing storyline nonetheless.

In fact, Reid is set to face a few players he coached while he was with the Eagles.

There are three Eagles players remaining in Philadelphia from Reid's tenure there: defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, EDGE Brandon Graham and center Jason Kelce. These players entered the league with the Eagles between 2010 and 2012, meaning they caught the last few years of Reid in Philadelphia before he joined Kansas City in 2013.

Graham is the longest-tenured one of the bunch. He was drafted by the Eagles in 2010 as the No. 13 overall selection and played his first three seasons under Reid, the last of which was his true breakout campaign and produced 5.5 sacks.

Kelce went under the radar in the 2011 draft, staying on the board until the sixth round when Philly scooped him up. That turned out to be a huge late-round steal by the franchise, as Kelce has gone on to make six Pro Bowls and be named a First Team All-Pro five times. He only played 18 games with Reid as his head coach, however, as his 2012 season was cut short due to injury.

Finally, Cox entered the league in Reid's last year with the Eagles in 2012. He showcased his potential right away as a rookie, racking up 5.5 sacks and making nine starts. Since then, he's gone on to nab six Pro Bowl nods and a First Team All-Pro selection.

It's impressive these veterans have all stuck around in Philadelphia for a full decade since Reid's departure. They're all looking to add their second Super Bowl rings after helping the Eagles win their first in franchise history in 2018, but their old head coach stands in the way of that.
