Marcus Smart has never been one known to mince words. He's a guy that plays with tons of emotion and wears his heart on his sleeve. Well, sometimes in the heat of a game, that emotion on your sleeve can cost you some money out of your pocket.

The NBA announced on Thursday that Smart would be fined $35,000 by the league for "directing inappropriate language toward a game official."

The incident in question occurred during the Boston Celtics' January 3 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder when Smart was ejected for earning his second technical foul of the evening.

Smart is no stranger to technicals, ejections or fines, but that doesn't mean the latter gets any easier to deal with.

The good news is that despite Smart's money leaving his pocket, at least we know it goes to a charitable cause on the other end.
