After posting one of his most productive games of the season against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9, Le'Veon Bell's fantasy owners received a bit of a scare, as it was revealed he had an MRI on his knee this afternoon, according to a recent report.

Le'Veon Bell MRI

The news of this MRI seemingly came as a surprise to Bell's fantasy owners and New York Jets' head coach Adam Gase alike, as he reportedly only became aware of Bell's knee ailment this afternoon.

As of this article's publication, there's nothing too concrete on Bell's injury status going forward, but an MRI is rarely a good sign.

Hopefully Bell won't need to miss any time, as he draws a great matchup against a weak New York Giants' defense in Week 10. However, if Bell is sidelined for any period, both Bilal Powell and Ty Montgomery could become interesting fantasy plays in Bell's absence.

Powell would likely be the preferred option in standard-scoring leagues, while Montgomery, a former wide receiver in college, could have the edge in PPR formats.
