Josh Gordon is back on an NFL team again. The veteran wide receiver signed a one-year deal to return to the Seattle Seahawks, the team he last played for before he was indefinitely suspended yet again in 2019.

While Gordon has not yet been resinated by the league, both he and the Seahawks expect that to happen sooner rather than later.

Despite being in and out of the league over the last seven or eight seasons, dealing with more suspensions than we can count at this point, whether justified or not, Gordon is still the leader in one impressive category since 2012.

Josh Gordon still leads the NFL in yards per reception since 2012.

While this is clearly a stat that can be skewed by a few big receptions, you do need a certain amount to qualify, so it's not like Gordon snuck into this crown unjustly.

While a lot of that average was probably boosted by the incredible 2013 season and some long catches for both the Patriots and Seahawks last season, it's still just about as shocking as it gets to see Josh Gordon leading the NFL in any significant stat these days.
