John Brown has found a nice role as a reliable deep threat on the Buffalo Bills, playing for a quarterback that seemingly has limitless throwing range. Unfortunately, it looks like Josh Allen and the Bills will have to get used to life without Brown for a little while.

The team has officially placed the wideout on Injured Reserve, meaning he will miss a minimum of three games.

While Brown isn't as significant of a loss as Stephon Diggs would be, it still hurts the Bills' offense. John is another guy that can stretch the field and keep the defense honest. And he's also a threat for a long touchdown whenever he runs a route.

Brown is third on the team in receiving yards and third in yards per catch of anyone with at least 10 receptions.

Gabriel Davis should be able to step in and be a serviceable replacement for Brown, but anytime you lose someone with that type of top-end speed, it's going to have an effect.
