Here's When Jameson Williams Will Likely Make His NFL Debut for Lions

Updated:

The Lions have been awaiting the return of exciting rookie wide receiver Jameson Williams since they selected him in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Williams, one of the top wideouts in the draft, suffered a torn ACL in the College Football National Championship game back in January and has been rehabbing ever since.

Jameson Williams Injury Update

We have been hearing of Williams being close to a return for a few weeks, but now it seems like we have a more realistic timeline of when he could actually see the field. Williams is expected to go through a week of full-speed practice next week. If all goes well, we will most likely get our first glimpse at the talented rookie on an NFL field in Week 13.

Detroit will do everything it can to make sure Williams is fully healthy before putting him into a game, but when he does get activated the Lions will be adding a very dynamic playmaker to their offense. That's something they sorely need.

The Lions are going up against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12 on Thanksgiving Day, where they are 9.5-point home underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
