The Houston's men's basketball team has never won March Madness. The Cougars are one of 12 teams left in the 2023 tournament that has yet to win a National Championship.

Has Houston Ever Made the Final Four?

The Cougars have made the men's NCAA Tournament Final Four six times, which is tied for the 10th-highest mark all-time. Those appearances came in 1967, 1968, 1982, 1983, 1984 and 2021.

Houston was one of the last four teams standing just two years ago before it fell to Baylor by a score of 78-59. It had defeated 15-seed Cleveland State, 10-seed Rutgers, 11-seed Syracuse and 12-seed Oregon State to reach that point.
