Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Sleepers for Week 4

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Sleepers for Week 4

Updated:

Even if you've gotten off to a slow start, sometimes you're just a move or two away from turning your season around. And even the smallest of moves can reap the biggest rewards.

If you need to make some more moves on the margins, here are three of the best fantasy football waiver wire sleepers for Week 4.

Waiver Wire Sleepers Week 4

Note: Only players rostered in fewer than 20% of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues are in consideration for this list.

1. Craig Reynolds, RB, Detroit Lions (0% Rostered)

D'Andre Swift's Week 4 status is very much up in the air after a shoulder injury. Some reports suggest he'll miss up to 2 games, and the backups on Detroit's roster will have to carry the load. Reynolds sits firmly on the depth chart behind Jamaal Williams, but the upside is huge. Consider this. Williams operated as RB14 through the first two weeks of the season. That number is inflated because he's been cutting into Swift's carries, even before the injury, but goes to show that Dan Campbell isn't afraid of getting two running backs involved. He also put up RB24 numbers during the stretch of time Swift missed last year, from Weeks 14-16. Reynolds has sneaky FLEX value whenever Swift misses time.

2. Mack Hollins, WR, Las Vegas Raiders (3% Rostered)

It's hard to ignore the performance Mack Hollins put up in Week 3. He finished as WR2 thanks to an 8-catch, 158-yard and 1-TD performance. These numbers aren't flukey, either. Hollins ranks second on the team with 19 targets, behind only Davante Adams. He's seen 8 and 10 targets in the past two weeks and continues to build trust with quarterback Derek Carr. As the No. 3 wideout on the roster, and the No. 4 option behind TE Darren Waller, Hollins is finding a lot of open space in front of opposing defenders.

3. Greg Dortch, WR, Arizona Cardinals (18% Rostered)

The same logic applies to Greg Dortch. It's time we take his early-season performances seriously, at least until DeAndre Hopkins returns in Week 7. Dortch ranks third on the team with 23 targets, converting those into 20 receptions for 198 yards and 1 score. Currently the WR19 in PPR leagues, Dortch sees enough volume to make him a viable FLEX option. This all changes when Hopkins returns to the top of Arizona's depth chart. Marquise Brown will slide to the No. 2 role and Dortch's role likely disappears, but that's still a few weeks away.
