NBA DFS Picks Tonight 11/22/2022

Kevin Durant Fantasy

Target Kevin Durant, SF/PF, Brooklyn Nets ($11,000): Kevin Durant continues to do it all for the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 30.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game as the team's clear No. 1 option. Now he draws a usually tough Philadelphia 76ers defense that'll be without both Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid, making his life even easier as a scorer and distributor. Durant's path to a huge night is clear, especially as Kyrie Irving gets back in the swing of things.

Mikal Bridges Fantasy

Target Mikal Bridges, SG/SF, Phoenix Suns ($7,200): Mikal Bridges has stepped it up in a big way for the Phoenix Suns with Chris Paul sidelined recently. He's put up 17.2 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 4.8 APG over his last six contests -- all without Paul in the lineup -- outpacing his season marks across the board. With an average of 38.7 FanDuel fantasy points per game during this stretch, it's clear Bridges is taking advantage of the opportunity created by the absences of Paul and forward Cam Johnson. He should remain a factor in a projected high-scoring game against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight.

Alec Burks Fantasy

Target Alec Burks, PG/SG, Detroit Pistons ($4,700): Alec Burks looks great since making his season debut on Nov. 11. Burks hasn't showed any rust as a scorer, averaging 15.4 PPG on 43.8% shooting from the field and 39.1% from deep. Notching at least 15 points in four of five outings, Burks provides a safe floor given his penchant for getting buckets. He'll continue to see a steady role (21.8 minutes per game) on a Detroit Pistons team desperate for offense after losing fellow guard Cade Cunningham to a shin injury.

Kyrie Irving Fantasy

Avoid Kyrie Irving, PG/SG, Brooklyn Nets ($8,800): Speaking of Kyrie Irving, he returned from an eight-game absence on Sunday to relatively quiet results. He played just 26 minutes in his first game back and ended with only 22 fantasy points. The All-Star clearly has some rust to shake off after recording a season-high four turnovers, and he also has to rediscover his role within this offense with fellow ball-handler Ben Simmons now back in the lineup. It's wise to wait for Irving to find his groove again before trusting him in lineups at this price tag.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Fantasy

Avoid Jaren Jackson Jr., PF/C, Memphis Grizzlies ($8,200): Jaren Jackson Jr. is back on the court, but that doesn't mean he needs to be a fantasy play tonight. His first two games were opposite performances, recording a ho-hum 27.4 fantasy points in his first outing, then booming for 52.4 in his second contest. Most notably, JJJ played in just 25 minutes or fewer in both appearances as Memphis eases him back into action. That limited playing time caps his fantasy upside in the short-term future. Further hurting Jackson's fantasy prospects is a matchup against the Sacramento Kings, who hold opponents to the second-fewest RPG. This isn't the night to roll the dice on the intriguing big man.
