Eagles Get Concerning Jalen Hurts Injury Update After Week 18

Updated:

Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts is still dealing with his shoulder injury. Despite that, he played through it in Week 18 to help ensure the Eagles kep the No. 1 seed in the NFC. The Eagles defeated a short-handed Giants team that was resting its own starters after clinching their playoff spot in Week 17.

Jalen Hurts Injury Update

When asked about Hurts' injury and how it would affect him moving forward, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni didn't exactly give the most comforting answer. He explained that Hurts will be in pain because of the injury, but the team does not believe he can worsen the issue.

The Eagles offense revolves around Hurts and his dual-threat ability. It's what has brought them to a 14-3 record and the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs this season.

Thankfully, as Sirianni mentioned, the team will have two weeks to prepare with the bye in the Wild Card Round that Philadelphia has earned. The hope is Hurts will be in a much better place by then with his injury to step on the field.
