Known for his explosive ability to make players miss in the open field, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel's talents were on full display on Monday Night Football during Week 4. Samuel erupted for a 6-catch, 115-yard performance as his 49ers stifled the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 24-9.

Not only did Samuel lead his team in receiving yards, but he also easily had the play of the night on a 57-yard scamper to the end zone. Samuel broke a number of tackle attempts from Rams defenders in this highlight play, perhaps none more notable than the futile effort from All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey is one of the best trash-talkers in the league, which made Samuel's postgame comments on the failed tackle attempt even more entertaining. In a breakdown of the 57-yard TD, Samuel roasted the "best cornerback in football" and his inability to land the big hit.

Samuel acts almost in disbelief of the tackle, clearly alluding to what a bad attempt this was. As the last possible defender in preventing Samuel from finding the end zone, Ramsey barely slowed Samuel down.

"Every time I get a chance to get the ball in my hands, that's just my mentality of trying to make it a big play, but it's just second nature to me right now," said Samuel.

The 49ers moved to 2-2 on the young season and now sit in a four-way tie with the Rams, Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks atop the NFC West. Even so, San Francisco is tied with Los Angeles for the best odds on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds (+120) to win the division.
