The San Francisco 49ers aren't exactly lighting up the scoreboard thus far, but you certainly can't put any of the blame on Deebo Samuel. The 49ers' rookie wide receiver has already tallied 92 yards from scrimmage on eight touches midway through the third quarter.

Notably, 53 of those yards have come on the ground, and Deebo has officially broken the record for the most rushing yards by a wide receiver in Super Bowl history.

The previous record holder was Seattle Seahawks' WR Percy Harvin, who tallied 45 rushing yards in Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos. Seattle routed Denver in that one, winning 43-8, so Deebo's performance is certainly a good omen for San Francisco.

Deebo's Super Bowl MVP odds have also skyrocketed after his impressive start to the game. He opened at +4500 to win prior to kickoff, and he is currently available at +750.

If he can maintain this level of play, he certainly has a chance to become the second consecutive WR to win the Super Bowl MVP award.
