Cowboys Elevate Veteran RB to Active Roster for Thursday Night Football

The Dallas Cowboys' Thursday Night Football matchup against the Tennessee Titans will be shaped by key injuries on both sides. Though Dallas' inactive list isn't quite as lengthy, the team is expected to be without leading rusher Tony Pollard due to a thigh issue.
With Pollard sidelined, the Cowboys are calling up a veteran RB to fill out their depth.

Dallas Cowboys Running Back News
Dallas promoted Qadree Ollison from the practice squad for Thursday night's game. He'll join Ezekiel Eliott and Malik Davis in the backfield against Tennessee.
This will be Ollison's third time suiting up as part of the active roster this season. He was previously elevated during Weeks 8 and 10 when Elliott was sidelined. Ollison has yet to record a carry this year, but he has pitched in 2 tackles on special teams.
Elliott is slated to take on his old workhorse role with Pollard out. Davis, meanwhile, has looked very serviceable in his limited usage as the third-string RB this year, recording 103 yards and 1 TD on 23 rushes so far.
The Cowboys' offense should dominate a Titans defense that's down several starters, so it'll be no surprise if Davis takes the reigns from Zeke in the second half, with Ollison potentially mixing in as well.
Dallas is projected as a huge 14-point favorite on TNF, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
