Chargers Get Encouraging Joey Bosa Injury Update Ahead of Week 10

Chargers edge rusher Joey Bosa was placed on Injured Reserve in September and underwent surgery for a groin injury. He has been working his way back ever since, and the time may have finally come for him to get on the field again. Just in time for a matchup with his brother's team, the San Francisco 49ers.

This would be the first time both Nick Bosa and Joey squared off on an NFL field. While we don't have a definitive answer on Bosa, Chargers head coach Brandon Staley did provide an encouraging update.

Both Bosa brothers have turned into premier NFL pass rushers after both being top-three draft picks in the 2016 NFL Draft (Joey) and the 2019 NFL Draft (Nick).

Joey only appeared in three games before his injury this season, recording 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He will surely be a crucial piece in the Chargers efforts to win the very competitive AFC West.
