Buffalo Weather Could Have Massive Impact on Bills-Browns in Week 11

Updated:

Both the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills prepare for a Week 11 clash after losses on Sunday. The Bills lost a dramatic overtime affair to the Vikings while Cleveland was handled soundly by the Dolphins. Week 11 will be played at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY at 1 p.m. ET.

As both teams face obvious hurdles with various injuries and schemes, another trying factor has emerged. The current forecast for Buffalo projects to play a major factor in the Week 11 outcome. After all, the calendar is closer to December than the start of November.

Local Rochester meteorologist Eric Snitil tweeted an early model of Sunday's forecast. The conditions have potential to drop several feet of snow on Buffalo by Sunday night.

His tweet included a picture of the snow forecast that projects 31.1 inches of snow in Buffalo by 10 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Forecasts are tricky to model, but both Bills and Browns fans will want to pay close attention to the forecast in the coming days. Buffalo is considered an early 8.5-point home favorite per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook and the over/under sits at 44.5 points. Expect that over/under to drop should the forecast continue shaping up to be a wet and snowy affair.
