Meanwhile, quarterback Jameis Winston guided the Saints to a fourth-quarter comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons. New Orleans earned a 27-26 win thanks to wide receiver Michael Thomas' pair of touchdowns. Kicker Will Lutz nailed a game-winning 51-yard field goal with only 20 seconds to go.

Buccaneers vs Saints Prediction & Pick

It's no secret that the Saints have dominated this head-to-head series as of late. New Orleans took Tampa Bay down twice in 2021 after splitting the season series in 2020 as well. This defense has gotten the better of quarterback Tom Brady, but the GOAT has a solid defense backing him up, too.

The Bucs did not let the Cowboys get anything going on offense in Week 1 and allowed a minuscule 3.8 yards per play. They also racked up four sacks and were constantly in the backfield. Not letting Winston get comfortable in the pocket will be the key to pulling off a crucial divisional win on the road.

Final Score Prediction: Buccaneers: 27 | Saints: 17

Buccaneers vs Saints Betting Trends

- Tampa Bay is 1-7 straight up in its last eight games against New Orleans.
- The total has hit the over in seven of Tampa Bay's last nine games in September.
- New Orleans is 7-1 against the spread (ATS) in its last eight games against Tampa Bay.
- The total has hit the under in four of New Orleans' last five home games.

Buccaneers vs Saints Best Bet

Sticking with a bet on the spread is the best choice here as the previous four games in this series have been split in terms of hitting the over or the under. A motivated Brady is a scary sight and that is exactly what we have here. Seeing him lose three straight games to one opponent would be a shock.

The Buccaneers have the personnel to grind the Saints down in this game. Running back Leonard Fournette logged 127 yards on 21 carries in Week 1 and was not utilized properly in two matchups against the Saints in 2021. Expect that to change on Sunday in a close victory for Tampa Bay.
