The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered a disappointing loss in Week 12 on the road to the Cleveland Browns. Falling to 5-6 on the season, Tampa will have to turn things around quick if they want to compete in the NFC.

Logan Ryan Injury Update

The Tampa defense has been really solid this year for the most part, giving up just 18.5 points per game, which ranks No. 7 in the NFL. That defense is also about to get healthier and stronger because of it with the return of defensive back Logan Ryan. He has been designated to return to practice this week, beginning his 21-day window to be added to the active roster after coming off Injured Reserve.

Ryan has been out since Week 4, but he has been a vital part of the Buccaneers defense since he arrived. In his four games, Ryan has one interception, two passes defended and both a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Ryan's versatility and experience gives him the ability to play multiple positions on the Bucs defense, a trait that is clearly valued.

We don't have an exact date on Ryan's return, but with or without him, the Bucs will take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 13's Monday Night Football game and are 3.5-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
