The Cleveland Browns are rolling, sitting at 4-1 heading into a crucial Week 6 matchup with the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bad news hit on Thursday, however, and the Cleveland offense is at risk of being without superstar wideout Odell Beckham Jr. for this one.
It's too early to hit the panic button, but any player coming down with an illness is obviously a big concern with the way the coronavirus pandemic has already hit the NFL. Beckham was immediately sent home from practice, and he is undergoing a COVID-19 test.
Beckham hasn't lived up to the hype that accompanied him when he came over from the New York Giants, but he has put up some solid numbers in 2020, averaging 4.2 receptions and 58.8 yards per game, adding 4 total TDs for the Browns.
If Beckham is out on Saturday, look for Jarvis Landry and Austin Hooper to both see a boost in volume, while Rashard Higgins could also play a bigger role.
Fingers crossed that this illness doesn't turn out to be any kind of a serious issue for Beckham and the Browns.
